Moulin Rouge

18th Arrondissement

,

Paris

No trip to Paris is complete without a visit to the birthplace of the can can, the Moulin Rouge.

First open to the public in 1889, the Moulin Rouge still encompasses fin de siecle entertainment today with its world-famous cabaret shows.

Even if you don’t attend a performance, it’s worth a visit to get some beautiful pictures next to the emblematic red windmill known the world over from cinema, including Baz Luhrmann’s film of the same name.
